Pre-filing Bankruptcy Budgeting Counseling Course
Approved to issue certificates evidencing completion of a pre-petition budget and credit counseling course in compliance with the Bankruptcy Code. Approval does not endorse or assure the quality of a Provider’s services.

Academy of Financial Literacy counselors are certified by the Association for Financial Counseling and Planning Education, AFCPE. Our counselors do not receive commissions or bonuses based on the outcomes of this course or counseling services provided.
Academy of Financial Literacy does not provide or offer Debt Management Plans.

Once you complete the course our system will automatically email you from info@AcademyofFinancialLiteracy.com informing you that we are required to do a final telephone counseling after course completion. Please call us at 877-833-2867 for final telephone counseling after course completion. This will allow us to make sure you have completed the course requirements and receive further counseling if required. Only after this step can we issue your Pre-petition, Pre Bankruptcy certificate. Your Certificates will be delivered via email, or fax to you and your attorney using the information provided.
